Marvel has made quite a big announcement these days, scheduling 4 more movies in the Phase III. One of them is the Ant-Man and the Wasp sequel, while the other 3 are catalogued as mysterious movies thus far, with only the release dates being definitive (or thereabout).
And this chance in the schedule has come at a price. First, the Captain Marvel movie was pushed back almost a year, from 2018 to 2019, while the Black Panther solo adventure was moved a couple of months earlier, in February 2018. And these were the only projects about which we knew that have had their release dates changed. Until now, that is.
Well, there is also another movie which may be scrapped entirely from Marvel's Phase III. And that movie is one about which we know literally nothing.
No more Inhumans movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
The Inhumans movie was scheduled by Marvel to arrive a couple of months after the second part of the Infinity War. These kinds of new superheroes have already been introduced in the MCU, in Avengers: Age of Ultron, their exponents being Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.
Furthermore, on the smaller screens, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. seems to become more and more Inhuman-centric as the show progresses.

Bleeding uncool
Bleeding cool came with this report about a day after the Ant-Man sequel was announced, a report which quickly went viral - because it makes a lot of sense. According to them, Disney and Kevin Feige aren't too keen on making the Inhumans because the TV series has already delved enough into their mythos. In a way, it would be futile, while also attracting some unwanted complications.
And these complications presume referencing more and more what happens in the Marvel TV shows. Each of the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are already packed with Easter-Eggs and connections to other movies from the same universe. The writers and the directors already have a pretty difficult job at maintaining the movies entertaining and making somewhat of sense - as we know, Joss Whedon decided to take a long break after shooting Age of Ultron for this same reason.
Of course, Kevin Feige himself came and said that the Marvel Cinematic Universe will start making references to the smaller TV shows. So where does that leave us? Apparently, he just doesn't want to make that many references.

The Marvel coup
About a month ago, the movie branch of Marvel has parted ways from Marvel Studios, meaning that Kevin Feige and the other masterminds of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will only report to the Disney bosses. Obviously, Marvel CEO Isaac Perlmutter isn't too happy about this change.
And even if an Inhumans movie will benefit the entire extended universe (the MCU and the TV shows as well), his plans at this moment are to further explore the Inhumans mythos on the small screens. There are even some rumors which suggest that an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spin-off only with Inhumans.
So what will be the point in also making a movie? While we do see one, as fans, it makes sense. If some characters are well received on the smaller screens, Feige (who doesn't really care for the TV shows) has no reason at all on bringing them on the big screens.
Daredevil is in the same situation, pretty much like any character who appears in this new TV series - we are talking, of course, about the Punisher, who was never portrayed too well on the big screens (but now has a pretty good shot in the Netflix series).
But, as said, this is only a hot rumor, which came from Bleeding Cool. And it may happen, as well as it may not - check out the next page to find out why it doesn't make sense!
A too big a gap between movies
While more and more people are talking about this project being scraped, Marvel is yet to make an official announcement. The movie is still scheduled to appear on the 12 of July 2019.
Even if this date is kept and the movie is released, there will be a huge gap between this movie and the next one (the first mysterious project, set to be released on the 1st of May 2020). If Marvel has renounced all its plans for an Inhumans movie, then the gap will be even bigger, of about 1 year without 2 days - Avengers: Infinity War - Part 2 is released on the 3rd of May 2019).
This seems a flimsy reason, we know, especially since more announcements are expected to be made. But it is still the only on we can think of.
Other than that, we can also say that Marvel Comics are also developing Inhumans properties, gradually pashing out others (X-Men and, more notably, Fantastic Four). And if money is invested in this title, why wouldn't they go the extra mile and secure even more fans, via a big screen movie?
