In a new interview with Variety, Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland discussed his experience as the new Spidey, including his thoughts on his costume and filming stunts for the movie.

Asked about the Spider-Man costume, Holland revealed that it’s (unsurprisingly) not the most comfortable thing to wear:

The suit's not the greatest thing, but sometimes when it's uncomfortable, you just have to remind yourself of the long list of actors that would love to be in that suit and you just go, “Do you know what, f*ck it. I'm the luckiest kid alive. I deserve to be here and I'm going to give it my best.

Clearly, Holland has a real appreciation for his new role.

We’ve been treated to some behind-the-scenes videos of Spidey’s stunts in Homecoming over the past few months, and Holland also praised the stunt doubles who worked on the sequences with him.

I did as many [stunts] as I could, but there are some things legally that I couldn't do. There were stunt doubles who were all very, very talented guys who really supported me throughout the process. Whenever there was a stunt that I didn't necessarily feel comfortable about, they would step in and show me how to do it, and coach me through the process.

Hopefully there’ll be a lot of cool stunt work to enjoy when Homecoming debuts.
