Shazam: Black Adam and Superman Share a Drink - Daily Superheroes - Your daily dose of Superheroes news

Shazam: Black Adam and Superman Share a Drink

Back when Warner Bros. announced the full slate of movies through 2020, Shazam was one of the most surprising additions to the DCEU. Even more surprisingly, the studio also announced that it wouldn't be set in the same universe as the other solo movies. Of course, things have changed since then, and maybe that’s for the better.

We know nothing about this upcoming DC project, except that Dwayne The Rock Johnson is set to play the movie’s main antagonist. Many believed that the superstar would portray Lobo back when he starting teasing a DC role, so it was surprising to find out that he'll instead portray the villain Black Adam (of course, The Rock still says that this iteration of Adam will be an anti-hero and not a straight up villain).

We’re pretty much up in the air as far as Shazam is concerned, so every piece of news that we get seems to be the greatest. And it’s the same with this tidbit, which can be considered a tease about the clashes to come (as some fans say).

Check it out below:

Do you really think that these guys met and  shared a drink as friends and then told the world about it just because? Yeah, we didn't think so, either. After all, The Rock did say at one time that we'll see Black Adam before the Shazam movie arrives. And with Man of Steel 2 being prepared by the studio, could this mean"¦?

We don't know. But what do you think?

For the moment, there is no release date for the Man of Steel sequel. Shazam is scheduled to be released on the 5th of April 2019.
