Wonder Woman: Wonder Wednesdays and Photoshoot

With the June 2 release date closing in (you won't even notice when June arrives), it’s no wonder that the Warner Bros. marketing campaign is moving forward with its Wonder Woman movie. Following the final trailer’s release, a number of interviews, and details from set visits, we have a clear picture of what the next DCEU installment has to offer. However, we can gladly say that the studio hasn't spoiled all of the movie’s big surprises. For example, we still don't know what Ares looks like, neither as human nor god.

In a recent interview with W Magazine, Gal Gadot revealed that she had no idea that she was auditioning for the part of Diana Prince, although she did know that Zack Snyder was the movie’s director. It was a stressful process, especially since she had to wait for several other actresses to audition. So how did she manage it?

When I auditioned for Batman v Superman, I didn't know it was for Wonder Woman. The director, Zack Snyder, asked me to do a camera test. That was torture. They were looking at six or seven girls, and we were all in separate trailers and were told to stay inside until they called us. Waiting is my Enemy Number One, and I was losing my mind. So I decided to put on Beyoncé. Who runs the world? Girls! I just started to dance, and I let my anxiety go. Thank you, Beyoncé!
