Footage description of Wonder Woman 1984 clip screened at SDCC has surfaced on web!

It seems like Wonder Woman 1984 takes its title very seriously as the sneak peek screened at San Diego Comic-Con 2018 perfectly captures the feel and vibe of the "˜80s.

It's been less than six weeks since Wonder Woman 1984 kicked off its production. But somehow, Patty Jenkins managed to get some footage polished and bring it with her to Warner Bros.' Hall H presentation at SDCC. But while the studio has officially released the trailers for Shazam! and Aquaman, they have refrained from dropping this one online.

However, thanks to Collider, we do have an account of exactly what the attendees saw. The clip was short and concise, and didn't feature any major character other than Gal Gadot's Diana Prince. It also didn't reveal any intriguing details about the plot. Here's the footage description for you:

The brief clip opened in a mall, where Diana leaps into action surrounded by punchy, neon (oh-so-80s) colors. A young girl is snacking on some mall concessions and sees her, and she let's out an adorable little "Oh my gosh!" She's so busy looking at her hero, she doesn't see the two bad guys, fully locked and loaded. Diana scoops up the kid and slides her across the floor to safety, where she gently lands in the arms of a giant teddy bear and giggles.

Back to Wonder Woman, who gives the goons a disappointed, disapproving look and crushes their guns, one in each hand. She double lassos them and jumps over the mall balcony in a classic superhero exit. Just before the end of the footage, we got a peek at Wonder Woman charging full speed down a city street, and she is just booking it.

Those of us who aren't attending this year's SDCC are definitely a little disappointed that we couldn't see the Wonder Woman 1984 clip with our own eyes. But at the same time, we can be glad that it didn't include Chris Pine's somehow-resurrected Steve Trevor, Kristen Wiig's villainous Cheetah or Pedro Pascal's mysterious key character. That would have hurt really, really bad. Check out a photo from SDCC featuring Jenkins, Gadot and Pine below (via EW)!
