Who is Stan Lee’s Least Favorite Marvel Movie Character?

In a recent interview with Comic Book Resources, Stan Lee revealed the on-screen Marvel character portrayal he was least happy with.

This is a rare thing to hear from Lee, who usually gives very positive reviews of Marvel films and actors’ performances. But, when asked about his least favorite Marvel movie character, he replied:

I was a little disappointed in the very first Fantastic Four, because I didn't care for how Doctor Doom was portrayed. But other than that, I thought the movie was great. And the actors were terrific.

Doctor Doom was played by Julian McMahon in the 2005 film. He starred alongside Jessica Alba as Storm, Chris Evans as The Human Torch, Michael Chiklis as Thing, and Ioan Gruffudd as Mister Fantastic.

Lee went on:

I believe they captured the spirit and the intent of all of the characters, and I'm delighted with how they all turned out. None of them have disappointed me. In fact, I think all of these movies have come out better than everybody ever thought they would"¦Even the early ones were good. Maybe I'm just my own biggest fan.

He finished up the interview by praising the casting choice of Zendaya as Mary Jane in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming: “I can't wait to see that gal, I can't wait to see that movie, and I think the public will love it.”

Spider-Man: Homecoming is currently filming in Atlanta and hits theaters July 7, 2017.

Who’s your least favorite Marvel movie character? Does your choice line up with Lee’s?
