DCEU: Two Mystery Movies Set for Release in 2020!

Just a few hours after the announcement of the Wonder Woman 2 release date at San Diego Comic-Con International, Warner Bros. officially scheduled 2020 releases for two as yet unnamed DC Extended Universe movies.

Several outlets, including Deadline, reported that the mystery movies will hit the theaters on February 14 and the June 5, 2020, respectively. If the previously announced release dates for Cyborg (April 3) and Green Lantern Corps (July 24) haven't changed, the studio will launch four DCEU movies during that year.

Cyborg’s release date may not change, but it’s highly likely that Green Lantern Corps will be pushed back. It really doesn't seem plausible that the studio would release two DCEU installments within a seven-week time period.

Considering Wonder Woman’s impressive performance at the box office, it's very possible that the sequel will take one of the newly announced release dates. Shazam is another possibility. According to film reporter Umberto Gonzalez, that film is looking at a February 2018 production date:

It must be noted that Warner Bros. has a number of DCEU projects in the works, including The Batman, Batgirl, Nightwing, The Flash, Gotham City Sirens, Suicide Squad 2, and Man of Steel 2. All of these projects are more or less at the same stage of development, so any of them could be up for release in 2020, as well.

It's possible that the studio will announce an updated DCEU slate later this week during its Hall H presentation at SDCC. We assume that they'll at least reveal the titles of the two 2020 releases.
