Not many days remain before Netflix launches all of the episodes of Marvel's Daredevil Season 2 - to be exact, it’s just nine more days! Yesterday, we spotted billboard posters that offered us The Man Without Fear, along with The Punisher and Elektra, all in new costumes. And today, the official Facebook page of the Netflix series released a new poster that features a new look – in fact, our first official look, at the three suited up in new costumes.

Just like the billboard poster, we see Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle with the iconic skull symbol that his comic book counterpart bears. We have seen Charlie Cox's character in the upgraded Daredevil Season 2 costume before, but we didn't have the back view at it. This poster offers us that. And Elodie Yung's Elektra has more red in her new outfit compared to the previous one. She's got the lower half of her face covered with a scarf here. I disagree with Frank Miller – this is no one else but Elektra! Check out the poster below!

And there's a new Daredevil Season 2 promo featuring the three big superheroes or anti-heroes (whatever you wish to call them) getting suited up! "Some fight the darkness, others become it" - check it out below!

With Steven S. DeKnight as the showrunner, the first season of Marvel's Daredevil managed to impress almost everyone. However, the showrunner for the series has changed - Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez haven taken over for Daredevil Season 2. And they’ve faced, perhaps, bigger challenges than DeKnight had to face. They have shouldered the responsibility of introducing two big Marvel Comics characters: Elektra and The Punisher.

Introducing The Punisher must have been a big challenge for Petrie and Ramirez, because the character has so many standalone movies under his belt, but hardly any of those overwhelmed the majority. So, how is The Punisher of Daredevil Season 2 truer to the comics compared to the previous ones?

Here's how Marco Ramirez responded to such a question put forward by Comic Book:

What we want is the essence of The Punisher to be on screen, the same way that the essence of Daredevil is on the screen, even though Daredevil wasn’t in his traditional costume for twelve episodes last season, but the spirit of who he is and who Matt Murdock is, that’s the entire show. Even though it’s not the one you would have assumed on a t-shirt.

Well, we’re looking forward to watching Jon Bernthal's version of The Punisher in Daredevil Season 2. Aren't you?

Do let us know your thoughts on these Marvel's Daredevil Season 2 updates and stay tuned for more!
