Thing - First Full Body Shot

Thing

Thing is one of those characters that could be depicted in a horribly wrong way or whose contribution could lead to Fantastic Four being a hit. We are now less than 2 months away from the release of this controversial reboot and all we have seen were just a couple of shots of the character (plus some rather amateurish posters for the movie).

So how will Thing look eventually in the film? From what we've seen until now, we cannot really form an opinion. However, based on the following pic"¦

First full body shot of Thing

A life-size statue of Thing has been spotted. The photo was uploaded online and, well, if you were wondering, Josh Trank's movie will see this character butt naked. As actually hinted in the clips and trailers.

Is this a good thing? Check him out below, in all his glory (?!?).

Where's his thingy?!?

Where’s his thingy?!?

So yeah, there is nothing to see there, even if Thing is rock-solid. Unfortunately, there is no pun in here, because he is missing his masculinity.

On the other hand, this would prevent the future Fantastic Four movies from involving the character in some pathetic relationship.

Quite disappointing

It may be said that this statue (or whatever it is) is not truthful to what we have seen in the clips. And it doesn't look at all as the Thing we expected.

Just like the posters, it looks less than amateurish. It even looks worse than the first photo leaked from the set (the one with the bust of Thing), which you can see below.

This looked way better

This looked way better

As said, this is one character that could make or break Fantastic Four. Leave aside the controversial casting - this is all CGI. And if the final product resembles in some way this statue (or whatever it may be), then"¦

But, once again: where is Thing's thingy?!?
