Just a few weeks back, Mad Max: Fury Road star Tom Hardy expressed his desire to play The Punisher, and since then, we've been speculating whether or not the epic Marvel anti-hero will be introduced in the MCU. Good news! Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, is indeed to be brought in the MCU, and it's going to be through the second season of Marvel's Daredevil!
According to Marvel's Head of Television Jeph Loeb, "Castle's appearance will bring dramatic changes to the world of Matt Murdock and nothing will be the same." Marvel.com describes The Punisher as "˜a vigilante who aims to clean up New York City's Hell's Kitchen by any necessary means, no matter how lethal the results'.
