THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE: New Poster Revealed at Comic-Con

Will Arnett, star of “The Lego Batman Movie,” revealed a new poster for the film at San Diego Comic-Con today. The movie, a spinoff of the hugely successful “The Lego Movie,” is scheduled to hit theatres February 10, 2017, and will also star Zack Galifianakis as The Joker, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred, Mariah Carey as the mayor of Gotham, and Michael Cera as Robin.

The poster reveal comes before tomorrow’s big Warner Brothers panel at the Con, where several upcoming films will be in the spotlight, including “The Lego Batman Movie,” “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” (which also got a poster reveal today), “King Kong: Skull Island,” and “Wonder Woman.” “Suicide Squad” has also had a big SDCC presence so far; it hits theatres August 5.

The poster features a yellow Lego background, the Bat Symbol and Bruce Wayne donning the iconic mask in Lego form.

The movie will put a fun, lighter spin on the typical Batman storyline, following The Caped Crusader as he tries to put a stop to The Joker’s attempted takeover of Gotham.

We hope to learn much more about “The Batman Lego Movie” (including who will voice Harley Quinn) at the panel tomorrow, and about the other upcoming WB films as well. If you’re a lucky Comic-Con attendee, make sure you don’t miss it!

Which of these WB films are you most looking forward to?
