Stephen Amell – Arrow would Beat Batman!

Arrow and Batman

Green Arrow versus Batman - who would win? Well, I assume most of you would say, "˜of course BATMAN!' There's this popular saying among fans, "˜Give Batman PREP time and he beats anyone!' That's actually how the Caped Crusader has been presented in the comic books over the years. And there's another factor that comes into play - POPULARITY.

We are all biased to be honest. No matter what, we believe that our favorite characters, teams and franchises have got the upper hand. Just for example, it is Marvel's overwhelming popularity of recent years that had helped the third Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer to get away without as much criticism as the third one of next year's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has faced recently for GIVING AWAY TOO MUCH! Guys, we are really being too harsh on them!

And perhaps in the same way, Stephen Amell is biased towards his lead character on Arrow! That's at least how it looks. The Arrow star attended Heroes & Villains Fan Fest event recently where was asked who would win in a fight between Arrow and Batman. Without a doubt in his mind, he uttered "˜ME'! Then he added (ComicBook):

"What do you want me to say? Well, Batman's more experienced and his costumes cooler, and Arrow's just a rip-off, so Batman would win for sure. No, I would win, absolutely.

The only logic that I found behind his statement is that he plays the Emerald Archer in the CW series Arrow!

He Thinks The Joker could Appear on Arrow!

Joker

The Joker on Arrow – Amell thinks that’s possible!

The actor was also asked if there is a possibility of the popular Batman-nemesis, The Joker, to appear on Arrow in future. Amell replied:

"Well, I mean, the short answer is yes, of course.

He went on to add that there's always a possibility for a character to appear on Arrow if it belongs to DC Comics. So, he won't say a YES if he is asked about the possibility of Iron Man coming to the CW series. Amell explained:

"There's a whole myriad of options because again DC and WB have a slate of films coming up, and those films happen, and maybe Arrow's still around when they're done. Or maybe there's a change and people are just like, "˜You know what, let's invest in something that's doing well for us.'

What are the Real Chances of that to Happen?

The Joker

They already have Suicide Squad & Gotham dealing with The Joker!

Stephen Amell has said what he thinks is possible but is it REALLY POSSIBLE? I would say NO! Well, Warner Bros. and DC have already earned enough criticism for having two versions of a character at the same time on small and big screen. Why would they go for a third?

They have Jared Leto who is set to make his debut as the Clown Prince of Crime in next year's Suicide Squad and they have Gotham to deal with the character on small screen. And this Fox series has been dealing with it in some complex way for a while now. So, bringing in another version of The Joker for Arrow would make it more of a mess to be frank.

Plus, fans are very sensitive about characters like that - if you can't do it right you get NO MERCY!

Who do you think would win between Arrow and Batman? Would you like to see The Joker on the CW series? Share via comments!
