Stan Lee

Having Stan Lee in a Marvel movie has been a long tradition, whether we are talking about movies produced by Marvel, Sony or Fox. As a matter of fact, the first cameo he had in the modern superhero movies was in Bryan Singer's first X-Men movie, as a beach-stand vendor.

Of course, along the way, he missed some chances of appearing on screen - such as The Wolverine film. And it also looks like he won't be in the Fantastic Four reboot either. But what does the future hold for Stan Lee?

Being the creator (or co-creator) of some of the most well-known superheroes, having Stan Lee in a superhero movie is almost always a must. So check out all the times when he was present in a Marvel movie!

As you can see, he hasn't been in all of them, most notably missing some X-Men films (such as X2 and the above mentioned one). However, with the current slate of movies in production, he will have his chance to appear on the silver screen again.

Or won't he? As a matter of fact, will he be in Ant-Man? Check out what Stan Lee said on the next page!

Here is what Stan Lee says about a future Marvel movie: “I was offered one with Michael Douglas actually, a scene with him. But they were shooting it in England and I didn’t have the time to go. So I’m not in that movie.” (via Movie Pilot).

So does that mean that he won't be in Ant-Man? Because, after all, this is the only Marvel movie in which Michael Douglas appears"¦

No. Basically, Stan Lee did something else instead: “I've already done my cameo for Ant-Man and that's a pretty good one, too.” (via Movie Pilot).
