Spider-Man: Homecoming has added two more cast members!

After making his debut in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War, Tom Holland's new webslinger will return with his standalone movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming. The production of the Jon Watts venture is expected to kick off this summer and it seems like Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are currently busy in shaping up the movie's cast roster.

Marisa Tomei and Zendaya are already on board. And they are eyeing former Batman star Michael Keaton for a villainous role. Now, we don't have an update on whether Keaton has sealed a deal with the studios or not. But, we are sure about the signing of two more young actors! One Life to Live star Laura Harrier and The Grand Budapest Hotel star Tony Revolori are the ones who have recently joined the July 7, 2017 release!

According to The Wrap, Laura Harrier, the actress who joined the long-running soap opera as the recast for the character Destiny Evans in 2013, has landed "a significant role" in Spider-Man: Homecoming. However, we don't have the character's name or any further details. But apparently, it seems like Laura will portray someone who attends Peter Parker's high school.

Tony Revolori will be seen as a "nemesis/enemy at high school" to Tom Holland's character, reports Deadline. However, the actor who portrayed the lobby boy Zero Mustafa in The Grand Budapest Hotel isn't "a supervillain" in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The Wrap suggests that Tony's character in the movie is named Manuel. Unlike Deadline, the outlet claims the character to be "Peter Parker's friend".

Well, it was previously revealed that Spider-Man: Homecoming will explore the Peter Parker who is just a high school kid, unlike Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield's versions of the character. So, it makes sense that they are focusing on adding young actors. Perhaps we’ll get more fresh faces added in coming days.
