Details on Opening of Ant-Man and the Wasp!

Possible details on how Ant-Man and the Wasp begins have surfaced on web!

Ant-Man and the Wasp will hit the theaters after Avengers: Infinity War, but we already know from the official synopsis that its events will actually take place before that and shortly after those of Captain America: Civil War. Now, we have possible details on how the movie will begin.

A source close to the Ant-Man sequel told MCU Exchange that the movie will open as Paul Rudd's Scott Lang finds himself under "house arrest" after he breaks out of The Raft. He doesn't really mind being confined, because he can spend more time with his daughter Cassie. And after the Team Cap vs. Team Iron Man fight, he seems to have developed an aversion toward putting on Ant-Man suit.

Meanwhile, Evangeline Lilly's Hope van Dyne and Michael Douglas' Hank Pym are busy in their lab trying to find a way to bring Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) back from the Quantum Realm. They’re displeased with Scott's decision to ditch them to team up with Steve Rogers in Germany, but they’re still fully committed to what they have set out to do.

The father/daughter team is using Pym Particles to shrink the lab to keep it mobile, as they’re on the run. This goes on for some time during Ant-Man and the Wasp, as they’re chased by "all types of folks", probably including Hannah John-Kamen's Ghost and Randall Park's Jimmy Woo.

This falls in line with set photos and video in which the Wasp confronts Ghost, with Ant-Man nowhere to be seen. It also makes sense that an FBI gear-clad Douglas was recently spotted on the set of the July 6, 2018 release. Hank hasn't suddenly joined the agency. The gear is a disguise he wears while on the run.

As evidenced by the movie’s synopsis and another recent bunch of set photos, Scott will join Hope and Hank at some point during the movie. It’s likely that they’ll have the help of Dr. Bill Foster, aka Black Goliath. Foster (Laurence Fishburne) will make his big-screen debut in the Peyton Reed flick.
