Justice League: New Synopsis Focuses on Wonder Woman

The first Justice League synopsis focused on Batman’s essential role in the formation of the team, but a newly released synopsis switches the focus to Wonder Woman. Previously, the Dark Knight's renewed hope for humanity played center stage. But now, it’s the Amazonian Princess’ turn to prove herself.

Check out the new synopsis below:

Wonder Woman (Warner Bros.)

Once again, Wonder Woman must demonstrate her ability as a fierce warrior. Facing a great enemy, she and Batman join forces to recruit a group of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. Having formed an unprecedented League of heroes, they set out to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions (via Screen Rant).

Obviously, Wonder Woman must now demonstrate her abilities against an even bigger threat than even the God of War. It’s interesting that the new threat doesn’t just arrive; it awakens. Of course, we already knew that Darkseid tried to conquer Earth before. But this new synopsis might confirm that Steppenwolf was also present as the Amazons, Atlanteans, and humans defended their planet.

It can be said that the new synopsis switches focus because the Wonder Woman film was so successful at the worldwide box office ($794 million and counting). But we can also speculate that Warner Bros. has already started moving Batman out of the way, based on rumors that the DC Extended Universe may soon usher Ben Affleck out.

But remember, it’s just speculation.

Justice League is set to be released on the 17th of November.
