Life Trailer Starring Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal

The trailer of a new sci-fi drama, Life, aired during this Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead, and it seems to be quite interesting (you can see it at the bottom of the page). The movie stars  Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), Jake Gyllenhaal (Nightcrawler), Rebecca Ferguson (Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation), Hiroyuki Sanada (The Wolverine), Olga Dihovichnaya, and Ariyon Bakare.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds explore space and make contact with a living organism; they seem happy at first. When a member of the crew finds the organism, Reynolds' humor comes up, as he says, “You’re finally a daddy. It’s going to be a big custody battle over this one.” But what they found seems to be what will bring thrill and suspense to the movie, as the little thing kills Ariyon's character.

LIFE tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences, and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected.

The movie is directed by Daniel Espinosa, and will be launched next year during Memorial Day weekend, May 26th.
