Jessica Jones: Rachael Taylor is ready to be Hellcat

Jessica Jones Season 2 has already been announced and confirmed. The cast and the director talked about it and expressed their perspectives on how they saw things going for the Marvel and Netflix TV show. On Jessica Jones, Rachael Taylor portrays Trish Walker, Jessica’s best friend from childhood and a radio talk show host.

In comic books, Patricia Walker is Hellcat, a superheroine with superpowers. In Jessica Jones, Trish does not have any super ability. At least, in Season 1 she didn’t. So, now everyone wonders now if Marvel will explore the depths of the character, that is, Trish Walker as Hellcat.

In the first season of Jessica Jones, Trish manifests some tendencies to explore superpowers. She undergoes heavy martial arts training, and at some point she ingests some pills used to enhance physical power.

In an interview, the actress talked about her perspective on the character and what she is up to.

I try not to get ahead of myself and think about it too much, because it's easy to get carried away and think about things. You don't want to count your eggs before they hatch, I guess, because we just found out about the second season today "” and this is my first show that's gone to a second season, so I'm super stoked. I already feel like I have more than my share, in a way, being on Netflix, being in the Marvel Universe, being in this show that has resonated so deeply with people. But of course, I mean, it would be amazing. I mean, it's already a privilege to play a history that has so much lineage within the Marvel Universe. And to take it that one step further is something that, yeah, I'd love to get my teeth stuck into whatever happens to the character (via ComicBookResources).
