Jared Leto Shares New Joker Image from SUICIDE SQUAD

The release of David Ayer's "Suicide Squad" is only days away. Before the film hits theatres this Friday, August 5, Jared Leto has taken to Instagram to share a new photo of himself as The Joker. Fans have been very excited to see Leto's look and performance as the DC villain, and there's already been a lot of speculation regarding how Leto will stack up to Heath Ledger's unforgettable performance as The Joker in 2008's "The Dark Knight," directed by Christopher Nolan. He certainly looks dangerous in this photo. His dark makeup, green hair and haunted stare are enough to send a few chills down our spines.

"Suicide Squad" has been one of the most anticipated films of the summer, and it enjoyed a relatively big presence at San Diego Comic-Con. Ben Affleck is reprising his role as Batman, and Leto will be joined by a powerful cast including Will Smith as Deadshot, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, to name a few. The film will follow the group of villains as they agree to complete a secret government mission in exchange for lighter sentences for their various crimes.
