Infinity War: Peter Dinklage in Early Talks with Marvel

There are so many stars and characters involved in Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War that we have to ask ourselves: Is there any room left for another? Well, apparently there is. According to Variety, Game of Thrones Peter Dinklage star is set to play a key role in the Infinity War and in Avengers 4.

The website reports that this is an immense opportunity for Dinklage, given the fact that Game of Thrones is slowly coming to an end, with each season having fewer episodes than the last. This gives him plenty of free time, which would enable him to jump into the MCU in a role which has so far remained undisclosed.

Peter Dinklage won numerous awards for his role as Tyrion Lannister, including a Golden Globe and two Primetime Emmys.

Of course, the fans know that this wouldn't be the actor's first comic book movie role; he also starred as Bolivar Trask in X-Men: Days of Future Past. But, as Variety reports, it seems that his role (if the discussions with Marvel continue) in Infinity War would be much bigger (or, at least, more important).

Of course, although the actor hasn't signed with Marvel yet, the fans have already started speculating which role might suit him best. And there are quite a few characters for him to play, apparently, from Red Hulk (?!?) to the Mad Titan's brother.

But, among these, one stands above the others. Many say that if Adam Warlock indeed joins the Infinity War, Peter Dinklage may be in talks to star as Pip, one of the key players in the Infinity War and one of the characters who joined the Infinity Watch (as a keeper of the Space Gem).

Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 will be shot back to back by the Russo brothers. Infinity War will be released on the 4th of May 2018.
