Justice League has been in theaters for four weeks. If you haven’t seen it yet, do you plan to? To give you some incentive, the first three minutes of the movie recently showed up online, but we’re not sure it will inspire you to rush to the nearest theater.

Justice League’s production has been plagued with problems, given how the previous DC Extended Universe movie performed. It became necessary for Zack Snyder to alter the movie’s tone, although some aspects just didn't add up as a result.

A family tragedy forced Snyder to step down as director at a time when the movie required extensive reshoots. His replacement, Joss Whedon, did everything he could to salvage Justice League, but the studio’s decision to limit Justice League to 120 minutes was the final nail in its coffin.

The three-minute clip actually demonstrates what went wrong with Justice League, and we’re not sure whether viewing it will convince you to see the the film. But judge for yourself:

It’s obvious that the scene is a reshoot (the CGI work on Henry Cavill's face is painful to look at). The clip is an attempt to convince fans that Superman is actually a beloved superhero in the shared universe, although Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice portrayed him in a different light.

But it’s possible that the Batman scene that follows will spark enough interest that some fans who haven’t seen Justice League will head out to a theater.

Justice League is playing in cinemas everywhere right now. Aquaman, the only DC Comics movie scheduled for a 2018 release, will follow on December 21.
