Deadpool is so far the only confirmed character for the namesake movie set to come to theaters in less than one year (February 12th, 2016). Gina Carano was, just a couple of days ago, confirmed, and the rumor goes she'll portray Angel Dust.

T.J. Miller is also on board with Deadpool, but no official announcement was made in regard to what character he'll bring on the big screen - though Weasel is the most likely. On top of that, sources indicate Colossus will be slotted in, whether as a full-blown character or as cameo.

Casting 24/7 released the other day a list of 5 new additions to Deadpool's list of characters. They're not properly indicated – they use code names, but their description entitles us to speculate. Check it out!

Ridge could stand for Ajax

"[RIDGE] Any ethnicity, early 30s to early 50s. Big, muscular, dangerous, violent, vain, insecure and more than a bit of a dick"¦. but with a sense of humor. He is not a psychopath, he's practical but morally neutral"”he doesn't enjoy torturing people, he just doesn't care. ROLE REQUIRES THREE SEQUEL OPTIONS."

This one has to be the antagonist. And it might just as well be Ajax (Francis, that is) who, in the comic book, is the one who experimented on Deadpool. Description fits him like a glove!

Lindsay could be Domino

"[LINDSAY] Any ethnicity, 20s, attractive and worldly. Smart, tough, beautiful but a little bit broken. Nothing has ever been easy for her and she's developed a thick skin and cynical outlook. But she's not a victim"”she may not have a great life but she's holding it together and does what she needs to get by. She's got a great sense of humor but it leans heavily towards irony and sarcasm. Could this be, in fact, Domino, Cable's lady friend and partner? What do you think?

Simon must be Weasel

This one has T.J. Miller written all over him. It has to be Weasel, Deadpool's sidekick. Can you think of anyone else?

Shirlie should stand for Blind Al

"[SHIRLIE] African American, late 60s to early 80s. Worldly, great sense of comedic timing, sarcastic, dry, funny. ROLE REQUIRES THREE SERIES OPTIONS."

No doubt: this one is Blind Al, it fits the description perfectly.

Who is Kathy in Deadpool?

"[KATHY] Any ethnicity, early to mid teens. World weary, great sense of comedic timing, sarcastic, droll sense of humor. ROLE REQUIRES THREE SERIES OPTIONS."

That's a bit of a challenge, the description is really not that specific. What's your best guess?

Keren reads Angel Dust

"[KEREN] Any ethnicity, early 20s to late 30s. Serious, big, tough. ROLE REQUIRES THREE SERIES OPTIONS."

And there goes Gina Carano's character, Angel Dust. It fits the bill perfectly.

Albert, perhaps Sluggo?

"[ALBERT] Any ethnicity, early 30s to early 50s. Big, muscular, dangerous. ROLE REQUIRES THREE SERIES OPTIONS."

Albert could stand for any other the classic henchmen of Deadpool: Wyre, Sluggo or Garrison Kane.
