Captain America: Civil War Writers Drop Bombs!

Since their introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have always been impressive with their writings. The duo has written the two blockbusters of Marvel's Captain America franchise and the television venture Marvel's Agent Carter. Now, they are working on the third installment of Captain America franchise, Captain America: Civil War.

What we already know about the movie is that Chris Evans' Steve Rogers will have some kind of a clash with Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark. The movie is scheduled for a 6 May, 2016 while filming is about to start this April. In a recent short interview with "˜IGN', Markus and McFeely revealed a couple of new stuff about the opening installment of MCU Phase 3, which isn't any less than dropping bombs, at least the minute ones!

On Peggy Carter's Connections

As Marvel's Agent Carter presents a fine bonding between Tony Stark's father Howard Stark and Peggy Carter and that we already have had seen her in First Avenger and The Winter Soldier, many must have speculated that there's going to be some connection between Peggy and the third installment of Captain America franchise. From the recent statement of McFeely, it seems to be something very much possible! Here's what he says:

"As we have not started shooting, and I'm on my fourth draft of many, that question [of who Peggy was to Tony Stark] has been in and out all over the place so who knows. So many things can shake out but we've had conversations and we pitched scenes. Some stay and some don't. But we saw [Peggy] in "˜Winter Soldier,' so we know she's around."

On Black Panther's Appearance

We know already from official announcements by Marvel that King T'Challa of Wakanda aka Black Panther is set to debut in the MCU with Captain America: Civil War. We also know that for his appearance in Civil War, the ground will be set in the Avenger: Age of Ultron. But how vital could Black Panther be in the movie? According to McFeely:

"I'll keep that one close to the vest, but I'm gratified that they went with Chadwick and that he said yes because he's a good get."

On Captain America: Civil War

All that we have known about the third installment of Captain America suggests that the storyline isn't any close to the comic series. The comic book version of Civil War wasn't undisputed among the fans, with many expressing total disappointment. McFeely claimed that what happened in Civil War comic book could never happen in the movie as there are differences between the two versions of characters and as the MCU didn't even exist at the time of the comic's birth. The duo also admitted that as they have Russo brothers from The Winter Soldier back with Civil War, the two movies are going to be aesthetically on the same vein, "˜the more realistic of the Marvel movies'!

How does all that seem to you? Are you excited about Civil War? Do share your views, guys!
