Batman v Superman – Two new trailers

There are 6 months left until the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and details about the movie are still being revealed. At least that is what a recent rumor provided by Heroic Hollywood suggests.

The director of the movie, Zack Snyder recently described Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to be a continuation of Man of Steel, or rather he referred to Batman V Superman as to Man of Steel 2. Here's how he actually expressed his thoughts in an interview for Canoe:

Who is going to be in the limelight?

Who is going to be in the limelight?

"I think in a way Batman v Superman is Man of Steel 2," said Snyder, making it sound like a standalone Superman sequel is definitely not DC's highest priority right now. "Justice League is kind of the transcendent, knights-of-the-round-table of the story. It'd be interesting to think about what a standalone Superman movie might be."

Given the feeling we got from the director of the movie, a question was raised: Who will be the main character in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice?

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice – Comic-Con Trailer suggests that Superman (Henry Cavill) will be in the center of attention.

Let's go back to the rumor from Heroic Hollywood, and if that rumor will prove to be true, I guess we will have an answer to the question raised earlier.

A source whispered to Heroic Hollywood that Warner Bros. is preparing two more teaser trailers for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. How is that helping to figure out the main character? Well, each trailer will focus on one of the superheroes.

Will Batman be on the second place, in the background?

So, Warner Bros. will premiere two new trailers for the movie, one focusing on Superman (Henry Cavill) and the other with the focus on Batman (Ben Affleck)This will happen on the night of Monday, October 26th.

Each trailer will be one minute long and they will be on air during two TV series based on DC Comics characters. The trailer that focuses on Batman will run during Gotham on Fox, while the Superman trailer will supposedly run during the series premiere of Supergirl on CBS, the same night.

We wonder if this is a good strategy for CBS and Fox. On one hand, Supergirl could be overshadowed and Batman might become an ambiguous character in front of Gotham's audience. This is what could go wrong, because on the other hand, the trailers could boost the rating for the DC Comics TV series. But yet again, these are just rumors, therefore we can only wait and see what's going to happen and there's no long left until the truth shall be revealed.

Same source speculates that after these two trailers, a third new full length trailer will premiere in November, on Thanksgiving in front of Creed, Spectre, or The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2. For now, they are all unconfirmed rumors but Heroic Hollywood managed to break the event for the first trailer back in April, held in IMAX theatres for Batman v Superman.

Do you want the rumor to be true? And who do you think will be in the limelight, Batman or Superman?

"Batman v. Superman" is going to hit the theatres  on March 25, 2016.
