This rumor has been lingering on the web for quite some time now, with various sources saying that it will be just a glimpse of one of the new Avengers, while others completely debunked the rumor.
But now there is a definitive proof that an Avenger will cameo in Ant-Man. And the proof comes with the latest Ant-Man clip. So check it out!

In the latest clip from Ant-Man we are treated, besides the glimpse of the Avenger, with probably the most comedic scene in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. And that is due to Michael Peña's Luis, who has already been called one of the highlights of the movie.

As said, this is a blink and you'll miss it scene. But somebody has been paying attention to everything concerning Ant-Man. Thus, it will be Anthony Mackie's Falcon that will appear in Ant-Man.
Even more, by the looks of it, Falcon will indeed fight with Ant-Man. Is it training? Is it an actual fight? Well, we don't know. But hit the jump for the screenshot!

So Falcon is the one Avenger who will appear in Ant-Man. At precisely 0:41 in the clip, we see the diminutive superhero jumping on the barrel of what seems to be an automatic weapon already spewing bullets.
And, in the background, there is a grey and red shape. If that isn't Falcon the Avenger, then we don't know who that is.
Of course, a new rumor has appeared, saying that this Avenger will cameo during the skirmish at the Pym laboratories. Another rumor says that it is actually a part of end credits scenes. For the moment, we can say for certain just one thing: Falcon will be in Ant-Man and the two superheroes will fight one another.
