Zack Snyder – Ben Affleck's Batman Is Operatic!

Ben Affleck's Batman

Since the last month or so, we've had a whole lot of stuff offered on the very next DC Cinematic Universe installment - Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. And now there's some more new stuff on the movie! The director of the movie Zack Snyder has depicted Ben Affleck's Batman as an "˜operatic' one. Here's what he said to Empire Magazine:

"There is just this gravitas to Batman. He is operatic.

That's how the Caped Crusader indeed should be, I guess! Meanwhile, Man of Steel star Henry Cavill has also talked a little about his character in the movie - actually describing the outlook of other characters in the movie towards his Superman. According to the British actor:

"In this movie, everyone has split into different directions as to how they feel about this alien. Some people love him, some hate him. Other people fear him. Is he a tyrant?

There's another quote from Zack Snyder that the report offers us. The director - who can also be termed as the spearhead of DC Cinematic Universe - talks about what he expects from the directors who will helm the upcoming installments of the cinematic universe. He stated:

"I want all the other directors of the other films to be able to stretch their legs and do what they want, but at the same time there is a big interconnected universe.

A fan-favorite actor has recently expressed his desire to play Batman! Hit 3 to learn about it in details!

Jake Gyllenhaal Would Love To Play Batman!

Jake Gyllenhaal

He would love to play Batman!

After the confirmation arrived that Christian Bale will not reprise his role from Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy in the second installment of DC Cinematic Universe, Jake Gyllenhaal was picked by a mammoth section of fans as their favorite for the role. But Warner Bros had different plans, they announced Ben Affleck as the new Batman, and you know what very well happened next!

It seems like Gyllenhaal was as disappointed as most of the fans were hearing the official announcement as he still thinks about playing Batman! In a recent interview at ESPN talk show Mike and Mike in the Morning, the actor - according to Inquisitr - stated that he would "˜love to play the role of the caped crusader'.

According to Movie Pilot, the actor was asked by one of the hosts of the show Mike Golic about the superhero he would want to play. The actor didn't hesitate for a single moment to utter the word Batman.

Batman v Superman

There’s hardly any regret after watching this one!

No doubt that Jake Gyllenhaal is a great actor and would have pulled off a great Batman. But after watching the second official trailer of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, I don't think there's much of a grief among the fans!

Batman isn't a superhero! That's what Gyllenhaal thinks! Hit 4 to check out in details!

Gyllenhaal Doesn't Think Batman Is A Superhero!

Batman

He isn’t a superhero!

This might hurt the fans of Batman! In the interview, when the Southpaw star was asked to give his opinion on whether or not he thinks the Caped Crusader is a superhero, he reportedly replied in negative! Just like the interviewer Mike Golic, Gyllenhaal also thinks that the Titan of Gotham isn't a superhero. However, the other "˜Mike' on the show - Mike Greenberg - had a different opinion.

This is just a timeless debate! Since he doesn't have any superpowers, he isn't a superhero! But is it compulsory for a superhero to have superpowers? Or is it his actions that earn him the title of a superhero? I think the following statement of Christian Bale's Batman has the answer hidden in it - "It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.

It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me!

However, what do you think? Batman - a superhero or not? Do let us know via comments and stay tuned for the latest updates!
