Thor: Ragnarok - Major Character's Whereabouts Revealed

That's not the major character

If you remember how Thor: The Dark World ended, then you know that it was with a twist. And, for a long time, plenty of conversations have been had about it and what it means for the MCU. Well, according to the most recent pics from the set of Thor: Ragnarok, a rumor concerning that twist is actually true. If you don't want to see spoilers, don't read on!

At the end of Thor: The Dark World, we saw Loki sitting on the throne of Asgard, impersonating Odin. Obviously, everybody was wondering if the God of Mischief had actually killed the Allfather. This wasn't the case. One rumor said that Anthony Hopkins would return for Thor: Ragnarok, in a setting nobody suspected. The rumor said that Loki stripped Odin of his power and sent him to Earth, where the formerly superpowerful being would live the life of a beggar.

Last week it was reported that New York sets were built for Thor: Ragnarok in Brisbane. And today it was revealed that Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, and Anthony Hopkins are all shooting there. And while there doesn't seem to be any kind of hatred between Thor and Loki (maybe because they weren't shooting at the moment the photo was taken), what is more surprising is how Odin looks.

I guess we can say that the rumor was true and that Odin is now a hobo in New York. Did Loki do it all alone? Or was he helped by Hela? Are there other powerful forces at work? Or is it all, yet again, just an illusion? After all, Loki is known for having tricked his brother in the past"¦

But, no matter what, Anthony Hopkins seems to be having a blast on the set! Which is great.

Thor: Ragnarok will be released on the 3rd of November 2017.
