Now, when you hear the words Suicide Squad, your imagination must lead you to the team comprising of Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller and some other big names! That is likely to happen because you know such a team is coming to the theaters in summer 2016.
But if this was asked a year before, your answer must have been the Task Force X team introduced in the second season of Arrow with Cynthia Addai-Robinson's Amanda Waller as the head. That Suicide Squad was pretty popular among the fans and we had heard that Warner Bros had been planning for a spinoff series centering on the team.
Well, chances of that to happen have diminished to a great extent after the announcement of Suicide Squad big screen adaptation. But that doesn't mean that the television version of the team will no longer appear in Arrow. According to ET, the team is set to make appearance in episode 18 of Arrow season 3 named Suicidal Tendencies!
Suicide Squad: Members Added & Subtracted!
The Suicide Squad will no longer be the same all faces that you had seen in season 2. Amanda Waller and Deadshot are returning for sure as the report claims. Bronze Tiger is the one who will sit out of the mission while Shrapnel isn't alive to return! But we will be watching Cupid for the first time as the member of Suicide Squad in the episode.

New Comic Book Character To Get Introduced!
Apart from the Suicide Squad, a new character from the comic books is also going to get introduced in this episode. It will be the corrupt politician Senator Cray to get his first shots in Arrow as the man "˜at the center of a rescue operation in the fictional Republic of Kasnia'. The character will be played by Grey's Anatomy star Steven Culp.
Official Synopsis of Episode 17 Released!
Meanwhile, the official synopsis of the fourteenth episode of the CW series named The Return has already been released. The episode airs on 18 February, 2015. Amanda Waller (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) breaks down the mission and introduces them to the newest member of the Suicide Squad, Cupid (guest star Amy Gumenick). Meanwhile, Oliver (Stephen Amell) learns about Ray's new Atom costume and the two have a heated stand-off. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Ray hit a rough patch.
