We have a month to go before Spider-Man: Homecoming rolls into theaters, but test screenings for the movie have already taken place. According to Robert Downey, Jr., those who had the opportunity to see the July 7, 2017 release in advance are speaking highly of the movie.
The 52-year-old actor, who will make his seventh appearance as Tony Stark in Spider-Man: Homecoming, recently held a Facebook Live session to announce a two-ticket giveaway for the movie's Los Angeles premiere:
This Homecoming thing turned out very well"¦People have been starting early screenings of Spider-Man: Homecoming. They say it's absolutely a 10 out of 10. I certainly enjoyed participating in it, and I think this will be one of the big summer hits. Anyway, these L.A. premieres are usually pretty fun.

During a recent appearance with lead actor Tom Holland on Jimmy Kimmel Live, RDJ said that he hadn’t seen Spider-Man: Homecoming yet. Both Holland and Kimmel said they’d seen it. Holland said he was "over the moon" about the movie, and Kimmel added that it was "easily the best Spider-Man movie".
Reactions to test screenings may not always fall in line with responses from critics and general audiences. Considering Marvel Studios' track record, it feels safe to assume that the Jon Watts flick will rate at least 7 or 8 out of 10, if not 10 out of 10.
Early box office tracking suggested that the movie’s North American opening weekend should command at least $135 million North America. But after that was announced, we noticed a significant boost in social media buzz, so it might have an even bigger debut.
