Rogue One: The New Trailer has Arrived!

The seventh episode of the Star Wars saga broke all records last year, being one of just three movies to cross the $2 billion mark. Sure, some hardcore fans were a bit disappointed by the J. J. Abrams flick, because the director may have drawn too much inspiration from A New Hope. But that doesn't really matter, given the numbers and the critical acclaim.

So Disney made the right choice when it announced that we'll get one Star Wars movie each year for the next couple of years. 2016 will bring a prequel to A New Hope and a sequel to Revenge of the Sith. Called Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the movie boasts a terrific cast, portraying both rebels and imperial forces.

The first trailer dropped quite a while ago, and it got us all pumped up. Now, when we know a bit more about the particular details of the film and we’re closing in on the release date, the second trailer can only increase the already existing buzz.

Released a couple of hours ago, the trailer makes it clear who will make a special appearance in the film. So check it out below!

Yes! Darth Vader will be back in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, despite what Gareth Edwards said concerning the Force users from the movie (he said there will be none). We also see Mads Mikkelsen for the first time (the actor is having an excellent year), revealed to be the father of Jyn.

And, as far as we’re concerned, we do see Donnie Yen in quite a few scenes - so he won't be wasted like the cast of The Raid in The Force Awakens.

A new poster has also been released for Rogue One:
