Morena Baccarin 's Dr. Leslie Thompkins is Jim Gordon's love interest in Gotham. Homeland star, however, did not settle for DC characters only. She's now rumored to get on board with the anticipated Deadpool, set to come to theaters in mid-February, next year.
It was only a couple of days ago that Gina Carano was added to the cast, supposedly to play Angel Dust, next to the leading man, Ryan Reynolds. T.J. Miller is the other actor confirmed for Deadpool, and he's most likely to bring Wade Wilson's sidekick, Weasel, on the big screen.
The Hollywood Reporter indicates Morena Baccarin got hold of a most consequential role in the upcoming Marvel movie. And while her role is not confirmed, we can afford to entertain a thought on what character she'll portray.
However, with Baccarin locked in for Deadpool, the cast seems to be coming along. Which is paramount if, as they say, they want to start shooting in March.

Chances are Bacarrin is cast as Copycat, Vanessa Carlyle, the very love interest of none other than Wade Wilson. This theory is not backed up by anything other than the Deadpool script leaks that surfaced quite a while ago.
However, slotting Copycat in makes sense: why not pair the titular character with his consecrated liaison? Plus, given her shape-shifting abilities, Copycat will make one heck of a dent in the plot!
