Margot Robbie Isn’t Scared Of Leto’s The Joker!

To comic book fans – especially the fans of The Joker – 5 August, 2016 is very special because they are going to watch the newest incarnation of the Clown Prince of Crime on silver screen Suicide Squad hits. We've had glimpses of Jared Leto's version of the character from set photos and the Comic Con trailer of the movie, and this one seems to be as freaky as The Joker has been in the comic books!

Margot Robbie, the actress who plays Harley Quinn in the upcoming DC Extended Universe flick, has recently expressed to New York Daily News how it feels working with The Joker. According to the 25-year-old Aussie actress, other than the initial days, it wasn't actually a scary experience for her to work with Jared Leto while he had his makeup for the role put on!

Robbie has been so used to seeing Leto in The Joker makeup that she would be "˜really confused' if she saw him out without those gold teeth and green hair! She shares an experience of seeing Leto without makeup:

Actually, I saw him out of makeup once and I was actually petrified of him. I was too scared to go up and didn’t know who that person was, and when he got back into his makeup I was far more comfortable.

Well, that shouldn't be surprising at all since she is the one playing Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad!

Robbie has shared her opinion about Leto's version of the character! Check out on the following page!

Robbie Thinks The Joker Is "˜Pretty Impressive'!

Joker & Harley

She thinks he is ‘pretty impressive’!

The task of portraying The Joker is NO JOKE, not only for the fact that this character is one of the most loved supervillains among the comic book fans, but also because we've seen epic incarnations by Jack Nicholson and more recent posthumous Oscar winning Heath Ledger. Just from the day Jared Leto signed for the role, fans have been speculating on how his version of The Joker will be, whether it will be closer to his predecessors or not, and they have been comparing him with Nicholson and Ledger with every new image or video surfaced online.

Margot Robbie, however, thinks that her co-star has done "˜pretty impressive' job with the character. According to Robbie:

"What he's doing with the character is so cool.

Joker and Harley in The Suicide Squad

If Harley Quinn isn’t impressed with The Joker, hardly anyone would be!

Well, that's something any star would customarily say about the performance of their co-star in an upcoming movie - so that's not surprising at all. But from what we've seen and heard (don't forget about his gifts to his co-stars), it seems like Leto is very much within the character, very similar to what Ledger was - the one who locked himself in a hotel room for so many days just to prepare himself for the role.

Harley Quinn Will Either Kill You Or Hug You!

Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn

She is ‘absolutely nuts’!

While talking about her upcoming movie Suicide Squad, The Wolf of Wall Street actress termed her character Harley Quinn as someone who is "˜absolutely nuts'! She thinks that the scenes of the movie are more appealing for the fact that the audience are not sure of how the characters will react, since each of them are baddies. Here's what Robbie said:

"I guess the one common denominator is we’re all bad guys, it just makes everything more fun that way. The scenes are more interesting I feel, when you just don’t know how the characters are going to react, especially with Harley, who’s absolutely nuts"¦ she’s either going to kill you or laugh and give you a hug.

Fant4stic

Fant4stic – the disaster that Margot Robbie escaped!

If you don't know it yet, Margot Robbie was very close to playing Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman, in the recent 20th Century Fox release Fant4stic or Fantastic Four. She was offered the role which was played by Rebecca Staab and Jessica Alba previously for the Josh Trank reboot, but she passed on and it ultimately went to Kate Mara.

For the first time, the actress has spoken about rejecting the Fant4astic role - she reveals that it was actually the script that didn't work for her, for which she didn't take up the role of the female Marvel superhero. She stated:

"I didn’t really resonate with the script, and I haven’t seen the movie, so I don’t really know how it turned out different from the page.

Josh Trank

Josh Trank – the maker of the disaster!

Well, she didn't watch the movie, but who actually did? Hardly anyone doesn't know that the movie is the biggest disappointment in the superhero movie genre as it has neither escaped from being a box-office disaster, nor has it earned anything from the critics other than negative responses.

However, Margot Robbie appreciates the memories of talking to Josh Trank about the role of Invisible Woman and she seems to held luck responsible for the tragedy with the flick! According to the actress:

"But I had a great meeting with the director and I really enjoyed that. I guess its part of the game: Sometime you win some, sometimes you lose some.

Can you be so generous to Josh Trank and his Fant4stic?

The Joker Says Good Bye To His Green Hair!

The Joker

He has said GOOD BYE to those neon locks!

Suicide Squad has officially wrapped up its filming this weekend and we've seen the cast of David Ayer flick being busy with tattooing a nifty "˜Skwad' on each other (you can check those images in here, here and here). But we didn't see Jared Leto out there, and that's pretty reasonable since The Joker is always an outcast!

However, he has his own way of bidding farewell to the movie - the actor recently posted an artsy image via his Instagram account featuring his shorn neon locks on a surface. That being a temporary GOOD BYE is all that we hope because we'd definitely love to see more of his version of The Joker in future. Let's check out his post below.

Goodbye…????????

Gotham's The Joker Is Getting Heath Ledger-y!

The Joker

Jerome seems now closer to Ledger’s The Joker!

Cameron Monaghan played Jerome – the younger version of The Joker - in the opening season of Gotham. The actor displayed glimpses of the insanity of the Clown Prince of Crime with a few minutes long scene and it seemed closer to Jack Nicholson's version of the character. But in the latest clip of Gotham Season 2, Monaghan's character seems to resemble a bit with The Joker played by Heath Ledger in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight. Let's check out the clip below!
