Over the past couple of days, news has been pouring in about Logan, the last outing in the X-Universe for both Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart. The biggest news was that Boyd Holbrook will portray the leader of the Reavers, a character named Donald Pierce.
Today it was also confirmed (via several websites, including CBM and The Wrap) that Sienna Novikov (Bad Moms, Daddy's Home) will portray X-23. Until now, we have only suspected that X-23 would be in Logan, via the many photos leaked from the set. We were, however, unsure of this fact, given the reveal Hugh Jackman made when saying that Old Man Logan would be adapted for the big screen.

Another important update concerns one of the villains of the film. If Donald Pierce will be the physical threat to Wolverine, we have suspected (ever since the X-Men: Apocalypse credits scene) that Mister Sinister would appear in the movie, as the one to whom Pierce answers. Furthermore, Richard E. Grant's character description fit the profile, as the mad scientist of the movie.
The same websites now say that Richard E. Grant isn't Mister Sinister at all. Apparently, he is portraying another mad scientist, who was involved in the creation of X-23. The character's name is Zander Rice and his head of security will be Donald Pierce.
Of course, this should all be taken with a grain of salt, since nothing official has been announced. However, given the many websites picking up the news, it wouldn't be too surprising if James Mangold (the director of Logan) were to confirm everything in the following days.
Who knows? Maybe he'll do so when the first trailer finally hits!
