Back in October 2014, Marvel Studios announced that they were doing an Inhumans movie that would have rolled into theaters in summer 2019. We believed that it was going to happen for around a year and a half, until this April, when they suddenly removed it from their timeline.
Marvel President Kevin Feige said back then that Inhumans was up in the air, due to certain events that occurred after they made their initial announcements about the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 3 - like Spider-Man being added to the universe, Ant-Man being a big-enough success to demand a sequel, and Walt Disney scheduling an Indiana Jones movie right around that same time.
Since then, we have heard almost nothing about the Inhumans. But in a recent interview with Slash Film, Feige finally weighed in on the possibility of the movie happening. And from what the Marvel head-honcho says, it seems like the movie won't happen any sooner than the MCU’s Phase 4. He states:

I think Inhumans will happen for sure. I don't know when. I think it's happening on television. And I think as we get into Phase 4, as I've always said, it could happen as a movie. I think it would be super cool.
To be honest, this doesn't sound good enough. It doesn't seem like they are very confident about moving ahead with the project at the moment. There appears to be a significant extent of uncertainty about Inhumans happening at all, considering the fact that Feige's words are usually more to the point.
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has featured some Inhumans for a while now, but it remains to be seen how long they can keep doing that. Then again, it's the MCU, where Thanos has been sitting on his throne for years without doing anything by himself, but still, we’re super excited about what he is about to do in Avengers: Infinity War!
