Warner Bros. finds a smart way to include Superman in the new Justice League trailer!

We’ve been counting the minutes since Warner Bros. announced when the new Justice League trailer would drop. The wait is finally over, and the trailer is available for viewing online.

The trailer, which runs longer than the classifications suggested, is loaded with new footage from Justice League. There's action, emotion, and humorous moments, but none of it is likely to spoil the movie for the fans.

Superman actually appears in the trailer, but not in a way anyone could have imagined. Henry Cavill's character shows up right at the beginning, but in Lois Lane's dream. He’s not wearing the iconic blue and red costume; nor do we see him in the infamous black one, but his presence is felt throughout the trailer.

Not only has Warner Bros. avoided showing the Man of Steel in action, they’ve also refrained from giving us a clear look at Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds). Nevertheless, there's a decent amount of new footage of the supervillain and his army of Parademons wreaking havoc upon the world.

Here's the trailer!

The Justice League Instagram account uploaded an alternate trailer that’s shorter, but it offers some additional new footage. Check it out below!

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes – Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash – it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
