Josh Brolin Teases Major Infinity War Appearance

In 2018, we’ll finally learn why Thanos is so feared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We’ll also discover the true power of the Infinity Stones, especially when they’re all together on the Infinity Gauntlet. But that’s a long time to wait, and we’re thirsty for more information! So each little tease means the world to us, especially if it concerns the Number One supervillain of the three MCU phases.

The most recent tease comes from Josh Brolin, who’s playing the Mad Titan. Filming for Avengers: Infinity War is underway, and should last until this July. At this point, the actor is filming his motion capture scenes. So we haven’t heard anything too revealing, until now.

In a recent Instagram post, Josh Brolin shared a pic of himself with his face covered in dots. This is to be expected, but the hashtags may have given too much information, which is probably why the actor subsequently took down the pic (via CBM).

What did the hashtags reveal? Well, things like #thanos, #avengers, and #brolintruckingco. And one said, “I'm just an average purple guy looking for love.” And that's a big hashtag. It’s as big as it can get.

Kevin Feige teased that Infinity War will reveal Thanos' endgame. Later, it was said that the Mad Titan's story wouldn't stray too far from the comics. Might this mean that he’s looking for love? Will this be Death’s MCU introduction?

Since it’s a little too late to introduce abstract entities into this shared universe (although Eternity was teased in Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2), we hope that Thanos will find love with Hela (yes, we mean that Hela should be the MCU’s Death. Don't you agree?
