Inhumans: New Posters and Release Dates

It may seem like ages ago, and many people might have forgotten, but an Inhumans movie was supposed to hit theaters sometime during Marvel's Phase III. However, due to various changes at the top, the film was delayed, and then completely scratched. But all was not lost, because the studio soon announced that they would produce a TV series. This may have been for the better; the stories for the main characters and villains are a better fit for multiple episodes rather than a two-hour movie format.

So far, we haven't had a decent trailer, although a leaked clip of very low quality did make its way online (in addition to the teaser that was just a voiceover). However, we’ve seen the Royal Family, and many fans didn't warm up to these versions of the characters.

In addition, a couple of new posters were released today. The first depicts the main characters: Black Bolt, Medusa, and the villainous Maximus. Check it out below:

Black Bolt’s iconic mask is missing, but Medusa's wig might present an even bigger problem, especially since her superhuman powers originate with her hair.

The posters also reveal that the first two episodes will screen on IMAX on the 1st of September. The series will air on ABC beginning on September 29, which is a change from the original September 22 launch. In addition, the posters show where the reported $200 million budget went.

Maybe the first Inhumans trailer will be featured at this year’s Comic Con!
