Marvel reveals Black Panther full cast that includes Andy Serkis' Klaw!

For the past few days, cameras have been rolling for Black Panther at Atlanta's Pinewood Studios. However, an official announcement from Marvel Studios was missing – until now. The studio has finally made an announcement and has released the first official synopsis for the eighteenth Marvel Cinematic Universe installment.

The studio has also revealed the full cast roster for the Ryan Coogler flick. It features Andy Serkis, who was introduced as Ulysses Klaue, aka Klaw, in Joss Whedon's Avengers: Age of Ultron. His return is no surprise; many expected it, but the confirmation is definitely good news.

It also re-confirms the return of Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa (a no-brainer), Martin Freeman's Everett K. Ross, Florence Kasumba's Ayo, and John Kani's T'Chaka. Last year, they all made their initial appearances in the Russo Brothers' Captain America: Civil War.

The Black Panther cast roster also includes Michael B. Jordan (Erik Killmonger), Lupita Nyong'o (Nakia), Danai Gurira (Okoye), Daniel Kaluuya (W'Kabi), Angela Bassett (Ramonda), Forest Whitaker (Zuri), Winston Duke (Man-Ape), Sterling K. Brown (N'Jobu), and Letitia Wright (undisclosed role). However, Phylicia Rashad and Atandwa Kani are not on the list, despite previous reports that suggested that they would appear in the February 18, 2018 release.

According to the announcement, Black Panther won't be filmed solely in Atlanta. Some filming will take place in South Korea. In a May 2016 interview, executive producer Nate Moore claimed that they were "investigating shooting in Africa", as both the studio and the director felt that "would be really good for the movie".

Check out the first official synopsis for the movie:

Black Panther follows T'Challa who, after the events of Captain America: Civil War, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T'Challa's mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.
