CIVIL WAR - Spider-Man, Black Panther and Vision have Interesting Story Arcs!

Spider-Man, Black Panther & Vision have story arc in Civil War!

You might know that the directors of Captain America: Civil War - Anthony and Joe Russo – are attending the ongoing Wizard World Comic Con New Orleans 2016. They've been answering questions on the movie over there. For example, they recently explained the start of the May 6, 2016 release and its impact on the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

More recently, the Russo Brothers have been found talking about the story arc of characters in Civil War. And they are promising interesting story arcs for a lot of them. Here's what Joe said (via ComicBook):

"It’s a big movie and it includes a lot of characters. I think that a lot of them have really interesting arcs.

He then precisely mentioned the web-slinger:

"I think Spider-Man in particular has a really fascinating arc.

The other brother, Anthony Russo, went on to add:

"Certainly Black Panther, who we introduce. Similarly there, introducing a character gives you a great opportunity to take them on a ride, you know?

And then Joe cited the character that was introduced in last year's Avengers: Age of Ultron:

"Vision goes on a journey, as well.

From what we've heard before, Black Panther really seemed to have a strong story arc in the movie. Civil War producer Nate Moore termed him as "˜the undecided voter'. Paul Bettany described the allegiance of his character Vision as trapped between "˜loyalty' and "˜logic'. That, too, seemed to suggest that this character has an interesting story arc in the movie.

Spider-Man does have an enthralling story arc in the Civil War comics but his role in the movie wasn't something we were sure about. Anthony Russo previously said that the web-slinger, along with Ant-Man, appear later in the movie compared to other characters and serve as the comic relief for the movie's serious tone. Tom Holland said that he's shot for around a couple of weeks for Civil War. So, it's quite surprising to hear from the directors that he's got "˜a really fascinating arc' in the movie.

Will We See Wakanda in Captain America: Civil War?

Will we see his homeland in Civil War?

We are surely getting to see the Prince of Wakanda in Civil War - we've already seen in the trailer. But will we get to see the African nation in the movie? That's what the Russo Brothers were asked and here's how Anthony responded to it (via ComicBook):

"Whether or not Wakanda is involved in it remains on the table.

However, Joe went on to explain what the statement actually means! He said that if the country wasn't in the movie, his brother would have uttered "˜no' right away. He stated:

"If you’re going to see Wakanda, we go, ‘Listen, we can’t tell you whether or not you’re going to see Wakanda. You’re probably going to see Wakanda.
