Batman V Superman - The Robin Actor Revealed?

Robin suit from Batman V Superman trailer

The second official trailer of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice which was launched at this year's San Diego Comic Con International offered us a scene where Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne stares at a suit with the following words sprayed on it - HAHAHA, JOKE'S ON YOU BATMAN! We know whose suit it was - it was the suit of the Batman sidekick, Robin.

That scene basically confirmed to us a rumor that had prevailed for a while – Robin is dead in Batman V Superman and it is The Joker who's killed him. Since then, we've been speculating on whether or not we'll get a flashback scene where the Batman sidekick will be seen. But since no cast for the role of Robin has been confirmed, the issue still remains ambiguous.

Few days back, we came across another rumor that suggested Robin isn't dead actually and he's been sent on a secret mission by Batman to watch over the Suicide Squad. According to the concept, Scott Eastwood – the one who's been spotted accompanying the team of supervillains in the leaked photos from the set of the David Ayer movie – is the Robin.

This strange and apparently-unlikely-to-happen rumor seems to be sacked by a more recent rumor - a rumor on who's playing the Batman sidekick in the second installment of DC Cinematic Universe! And I must tell you that the rumor has already gained enough strength to not be ignored!

Hit 2 to learn about the rumor!

Zack Snyder's Son Is The Dead Robin!

The Joker

He’s killed Snyder’s son!

The Robin of DC Cinematic Universe - the character that will be killed by Jared Leto's The Joker – is played by none other than the son of Man of Steel and Batman V Superman director Zack Snyder! The name of this young brat is Eli Snyder. The hot rumor has been put forward by Umberto Gonzalez of Heroic Hollywood.

Eli Snyder

Eli Snyder – the dead Robin?

If the rumor is true, Batman V Superman will not be the first movie he has appeared in - he's played the roles of young Leonidas in 300, young Rorschach in The Watchmen and Tommy Soldier #1 in Sucker Punch. And with a height of six feet, weight of around 174 pounds and a physique as that of an athlete (don't forget that he's got good stats as a quarterback at Maranatha High Varsity Football), Zack Snyder's lad certainly seems to be a good fit for the role.

Hit 3 to check out a tease from an insider that adds strength to the rumor!

Batman V Superman Photographer Fans The Flame!

Batman V Superman

The one who’s captured this strengthens the rumor!

Clay Enos - the still photographer of Batman V Superman - has fanned the flames with a recent post on Twitter. The photographer posted a black-and-white still featuring Eli and Zack Snyder which is accompanied with the text "Boy Wonder?"! Those who are familiar with Batman comics must know what that term means, right?

And those who don't know it, be informed that Boy Wonder is a term used in the comics to refer to none other than Robin! Check out the tweet below!

Is that a confirmation? Or is the joke on us?

Hit 4 to learn what Gal Gadot has to say about her Wonder Woman!

Gadot's Wonder Woman - Strong & Inspiring!

Wonder Woman

Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman

The Wonder Woman of DC Cinematic Universe - Gal Gadot - recently posed for some hot snaps for Interview Magazine and shared her excitement and the sense of responsibility of playing the Amazonian Princess. While talking about the type of role she has always wanted to do, the actress stated:

"And I always said, "I'm open." I'm very open to all different genres because I'm a very open-minded girl. But eventually, I told them that I wanted to be able to show the stronger side of women. I didn't want to do the obvious role that you see in Hollywood most of the time, which is the heartbroken girl who's waiting to be rescued by the guy, blah, blah, blah. I wanted to do something different. Little did I know that I would land Wonder Woman not long after.

The 30-year-old Israeli actress expressed her excitement for playing Wonder Woman but also went on to share the responsibility she feels has been shouldered upon her. She added:

"I'm so excited about this role. I feel like I've been given a huge opportunity to inspire people, not only women. And not because of me but because of who Wonder Woman is and what she stands for. There's a lot of responsibility. But I have the best team and the best people to work with. It's going to be an amazing ride, knock on wood.
