About a week ago, Batman v Superman cinematographer Larry Fong said on Twitter that the Ultimate Edition of his latest movie wouldn't be worth anyone’s while. More explicitly, he said that those who loved Batman v Superman in the theater will love the Ultimate Edition even more, while those who hated it will keep on hating. And this is surprising - it actually reached Josh Trank levels of surprise, as far as we are concerned.
Batman v Superman is a deeply flawed movie, and there is no argument against that. But the cinematography is amazing. And to hear someone who worked on the project say that people shouldn't buy the movie is bewildering. Josh Trank did that - but at least he had his inexperience as a filmmaker as an excuse.

But all is well now with the Batman v Superman Ultimate Edition, according to the same Larry Fong. After backtracking a couple of days after the original post by saying that he meant that haters gonna hate, the cinematographer now says that this is a movie for everybody.
More specifically, Larry Fong says that everybody will love the ultimate edition of the movie. What happened between then and now? Most likely it was a talk between the powers that be and the cinematographer, who previously worked with Zack Snyder on Watchmen, as well as 300 (both movies being epic from his point of view).
So which one is it? Larry Fong also added on Twitter that snarky comebacks for Batman were added for a more comedic effect. And he also said that there are quite a few scenes which serve the story and which shouldn't have been dropped on the cutting room floor (scenes such as the Knightmare). But still"¦

Ladies and lads, gentlemen and cads, welcome back to that segment I do where I grab an old character guide and talk about weird characters no one remembers but me. This time, we're gonna look at some DC characters.
In the "˜80s, DC published Who's Who, a handbook-esque series going over all of the characters they had at their disposal. And I have the whole series! So I grabbed the first three issues, covering the first two letters of the alphabet, and flipped through "˜em looking for weirdness. And I found some. Like, I found a lot. So let's talk about them.
